On behalf of the Expert Training Center of the State Fisheries Agency, the Memorandum was signed by Deputy Director Hanna Shiyan, while from the "Primavera" NGO, the signatory was the director Olga Zhovtonog. This document holds great significance as it opens new horizons for the integration of international experience in the field of irrigation and reclamation, as well as facilitates the implementation of numerous state and international initiatives in this sector.

The Memorandum outlines several key areas of cooperation, with particular focus on:

  1. Supporting reforms in the irrigation and drainage sector
  2. Attracting investment resources for the restoration, modernization, and development of irrigation system infrastructure
  3. Formulating and implementing technical assistance programs
  4. Developing and implementing training programs in the field of reclamation development

This cooperation will be an important step for the further development of reclamation in Ukraine, contributing to the implementation of existing state and international programs and ensuring the stability and sustainable development of the country’s water resources. Given the relevance of water usage issues and effective water resource management, this initiative has strategic significance not only for Ukraine but also for international cooperation in the context of sustainable development and adaptation to climate change.

The signing of the Memorandum is also an important signal for investors and international partners regarding Ukraine’s readiness to implement innovative approaches to water resource management and the development of irrigation system infrastructure, which has a positive impact on food security and the ecological situation in the region.

Through this partnership, Ukraine gains new opportunities for the development of the reclamation sector, which will be a key factor for economic growth, increased agricultural efficiency, and the conservation of natural resources.
