Occupational Safety Training: Qualification Upgrade for Water Management Specialists

In June, the Expert Training Center of the State Fisheries Agency successfully organized and conducted a professional development course on general occupational safety. More than 40 representatives of water management organizations from various regions of Ukraine took part in the training, including engineers, occupational safety specialists, and heads of departments.

The course program covered essential topics such as the organization of safe working conditions, prevention of workplace injuries, risk assessment, and updates to occupational safety legislation. Special attention was given to practical case studies and typical issues encountered in the water management sector.

On June 13, participants underwent a final knowledge assessment. The specialists and managers successfully passed the exam in accordance with current legal requirements, confirming their high level of professional competence in occupational safety.

The training was conducted at a high methodological and organizational level. The knowledge gained will contribute to improving occupational safety systems within their institutions, enhancing workplace safety, and reducing operational risks.
