Meeting on the development of the National Irrigation and Drainage Master Plan

Yesterday, April 29, 2025, another working meeting was held with representatives of the World Bank and the CINGRAL company, with the participation of specialists from the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, the State Fisheries Agency and Expert Training Center. The meeting discussed the current status of the development of the National “Master Plan” for the development of irrigation and drainage. CINGRAL presented a model by which the economic component of the Plan will be calculated, and the parties also discussed a number of technical issues regarding the further filling of this model with data. The next meeting at the expert level is planned in two weeks. The purpose of creating the National Plan is to develop strategies for the efficiency of irrigation and drainage systems, which is crucial for the sustainable development of the agricultural sector.
