Participation in the 5th All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Online Conference

May 22 became a significant day for the educational community: the 5th All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference titled "Modernization of Vocational Education Content in the Context of Ukraine’s European Integration – 2025" was held online, bringing together experts, researchers, and education administrators from across the country.

Among the invited participants was Anna Shyyan, Acting Director of the Expert Training Center, who presented the Center’s vision regarding the next steps in modernizing education in line with European practices. In her speech, she emphasized the importance of implementing a competency-based approach, updating educational programs, and systematically enhancing teachers’ qualifications as prerequisites for meaningful transformation.

The conference discussions covered a wide range of topics — from adapting educational content to European standards to creating a flexible educational ecosystem capable of responding to modern challenges. Participants highlighted the need for interagency coordination, process digitalization, strengthening practical training, and developing soft skills among learners.

The event stood out for its high level of expertise, constructive atmosphere, and forward-looking focus. Many important ideas were voiced that will be taken into account during the development of strategic documents in the field of education. At the same time, the conference served as an example of dialogue between practitioners and academics, demonstrating a shared commitment to the European path of development and the strengthening of Ukraine’s education system.
