A working meeting with representatives from the World Bank

Today, April 7, 2025, an online meeting took place with representatives from the World Bank, the Expert-Training Center, the State Fisheries Agency, the NGO "Primavera," and Cingeral.

The main topic was the discussion of the National "Master Plan" for the development of irrigation and drainage.

The following issues were discussed:

Priority zones (by functional division);

Water use and data accessibility (creation of water balances based on data from the State Fisheries Agency and the State Water Agency);

Groundwater and water accounting tools (creation of a data platform);

Infrastructure and technical data on reservoirs (volumes, sizes, and capacities);

Data on water consumption coefficients in agriculture (data collection and exchange for clarification).

The next meeting is scheduled for April 21, 2025.
